A portrait of the cultures threatened by an impersonal and economy-focused globalization.
The documentary is presented as an updated vision of the social and cultural situation of the indigenous people of America, facing the new millennium. Growing marginalization and displacement imposed by the centers of power place all cultures a situation of precarious survival. From the millenary philosophy of the older cultures arise answers to problems suffered by all of us, matters related to ecology, sustainable development and the survival as a species itself. This film is timely chronicle of a world in danger of eradicating the vast living librarys of knowledge passed through generations of indigenous culture.
