Roots Time is the story of Jah Bull and Baboo, two Rastafarians that sell LP records in an old colorful car through the countryside towns of Jamaica. While on the road they pick up well known radio broadcaster, Farmer Roots, who is trying to get his sick girlfriend to hospital. Jah Bull and Baboo do not believe in traditional medicine because of their Rastafarian principles and convince Farmer Roots to take his girlfriend to a well-known herbal doctor called Bongo-Hu. Getting to the herbal doctor turns out to be much trickier than they could ever have expected and all kind of adventures ensue.
